Every year we look forward to the Lighting of the Green at Lipscomb University! Free concert, Free picture with Santa, Free cookies and Hot chocolate...Do ya see the common denominator?! Plus it just gets me in the mood for Christmas! Madelyn loved listening to the elementary school sing! I can't wait to see the picture with Santa. We have gotten one EVERY year since she was born! One day I'm going to put them side by side in an album. This year she did....hummm "okay" we just took a family photo so Maddie sat in Shane's lap while Santa had the joys of holding little man (who was totally oblivious to who was holding him!)

Amy Grant did an amazing job and the icing on the cake was that Dave Barnes came out and sang a few songs from his new Christmas album and did a fabulous job!
He ate dinner while listening to beautiful Christmas songs!
Joe Joe on stage talking about Second Harvest. Madelyn kept asking "What is Joe Joe doing?!"
She was all tuckered out and fell asleep in the car on the way home.
