Last week we all had the WORST stomach bug EVER! So much for 24 hrs.! It last 7 full days! Our poor little fella had the worst time. He woke up Friday morning and had vomited all over his bed. He continued to vomit all day Friday:( On Saturday his fever and diarrhea started and vomiting stopped. On Sunday Murphy still had awful diarrhea diapers and a low grade fever.He also had 0 wet diapers that day. All this time we are pushing pedilyte on him. On Sunday night around 8:30 pm, Murphy started vomiting AGAIN! I called the on-call pediatrician. She said that he isn't able to hold in any fluids and that he was working on day number 3 almost 4 of not having much fluids that she would rather we go ahead and take him to the Children's ER at Vanderbilt. We dropped Maddie off at Nino and Joe Joe's house around 11:00. We arrived at the ER. Murphy was pretty lethargic. We were seen immediately! They put us in a room and they gave Murphy medications to stop the vomiting. Then we had to wait an hour for the meds to work.
