On Christmas day we went out after the ski lifts had closed and played in the snow. It makes you feel like a child again! We always have such a great time playing in the snow! Madelyn even enjoyed it!

We heard that Santa was making a little visit to see kids in the village.

The reindeer even came to visit! I'm sure it felt better in Beaver Creek then in the North Pole! esp since the village has heated sidewalks!

It was perhaps the clearest day! The sky was a beautiful blue! Shane and I headed out to ski while Jenny and Matt watched our munchkin. We had SO much fun!

We heard that while we were there Beaver Creek received 2 1/2 feet of snow!
Shane bored out of his gourd...It takes a while to reach the top...

This was Shane's first year to Ski. He has been snow boarding for 10 years now and wanted to try something different! He did really well for only taking 2 days worth of ski school!
Today Shane and I stayed with the girls. They both did SO well! We had fun taking care of a baby again. Addy Grace is too sweet!

The Ivey Crew at Eagle Ranch
Eagle Ranch has sleigh rides. It was a VERY cold snowy ride. Madelyn LOVED the horses! They were big guys named Fred and Barney!
Maddie was in awe with the Moose head on the wall. She kept saying the "mooooo".
Sweet little Addy Grace just wanted to look around. We never heard a peep out of her!
The guy was playing his guitar and singing while we ate. Madelyn finished eating and wanted to get up and dance. She entertained EVERYONE there!
