1st Hair Cut

Yep...We decided to get Madelyn's hair cut! It was just getting SO hard to manage. There were knots all in the back when she woke up so it was time. I had found the cutest picture of a little girl in a parenting magazine and off we went to see Mrs. Meredith. Madelyn did really well too! She sat there eating a sucker and SMARTIES while sitting in Shane's lap! I thought it turned out so cute! I guess you would call it a bob. Surprisingly no tears were shed from Madelyn nor her parents! HA!

Meridith was telling Maddie that she has a baby girl inside he tummy. Madelyn responded by saying "baby cry in there". She was cracking Meridith up! We saved her baby lock with a tied piece of pink ribbon and I put it in here baby book.

VBS "Peter, Peter Powerful Preacher"

This year was our first time to help out/ attend VBS with our church. We had a great time! I taught a story time/ craft class for rotations for ages 3's, 4's and 5's! Madelyn can to church 2 of the 4 days and she had a great time! I was a little shocked because we have our VBS at night so that people can get off work and join in. So it started at 6:00 and ended at 9:00. Well Maddie usually goes down for bed at 8:30. I just knew I would get called back to her room with a melting toddler. When I went to pick her up she was playing and having fun!

When we got in the car I asked her what they did in their class. All she could tell me was
"friends play and cookie yummy to tummy!" Then she said "I happy!" It was TOO cute!

Madelyn goes to her 2 year doctor visit

Today Maddie had her two year checkup with Dr. Godfrey.

She did pretty well. She does not care to be weighed AT ALL! The nurse tried putting weighing her on the big kid scale but Madelyn would not even put her feet down on the floor! So we put her on the baby scales! She weighted 25 lbs. and 2 oz., which puts her at the 27% in her age group. She measured at 33 1/2 inches in height (48%). Her head measured at 19" (75%). We were very happy to see that she had gained some weight.

No shots today only a prick in the finger to check her hemoglobin...she was not a happy camper... I think she was actually madder at the fact that the nurse put a band-aid on her finger than the finger prick!

Pie went to the Moon/ Madelyn the Robot

Greeting from Planet Ivey...We bring good news ...Madelyn has sent ALL of her "pies"(paci's to you guys) to the moon! The pies have been there for three days now!

Madelyn the robot asks for her pies occasionally but her parentals reply by saying "The pies are on the moon." and she seems to be okay with that. She has not even thrown a fit about it!!

I (Natalie) am taking it harder than Madelyn is! Shane has stashed them somewhere and won't tell me where they are!!

HA! I love it! She calls herself a "Bebot!" Right after I took this video she fell and could not get up with the box on her! She was yelling "Help!, Help!"
