Remembering my Sweet Friend...

There is not a day that has gone by this year that I haven't thought of you. It makes my heart ache when I see your children and know that they miss their mothers arms...Sometimes I wish I could see your sweet smiling face just one more time...One day I will.

We look up and noticed that it was pretty quiet in the house, the girls had gone missing!!! We found these two playing in Joe Joe's closet! They are SO incredibly funny!

4 Month Well Visit

We carried Murphy to his 4 month well visit. Shane and I were both thinking that he had already doubled his birth weight..he hasn't but is O-so-close to doing so! This typically does not happen until 6 months!
His stats were:
weight: 15lb. 8oz (70-75%)
height: 25.5 inches (70-75%)
head circumference 16 7/8 inches (75%)
So I guess you can say little man is well proportioned!

We are having to increase his reflux medication by 25%. Maybe I won't have to change outfits and bibs all day long! Seriously...He goes through about 4 a day! Which means lots of laundry for mommy! About a week ago I discovered what looked like a birthmark on Murphy's side. Dr. Godfrey confirmed it and said that it is a Café-au-lait s. They are hereditary...My sister and I both have one;)

~Free Christmas Cards at Shutterfly!~

When I read a friends blog post about the promotion that Shutterfly was offering, I was super excited. (I am a women who LOVES a good deal!) Christmas can get a little expensive as it is, so what better way to be able to send out Christmas cards to friends and family. Some of which have not seen our family in a while and cherish getting the cards! Also we added to our family this past July so many people that have not gotten to meet him will be excited to see a picture on our card!

For the past several years we have used Shutterfly to create the perfect Christmas Cards! They have So many incredible options to pick from! In fact they even have to-die-for designer cards!

One reason I really like Shutterfly is because of the choices you have. They have really nice cards that are a little more on the traditional side of cards, but they also have these really nice designer cards that are a little more contemporary, and are worth every penny.

Until now we have only used Shutterfly for Christmas cards, but as Madelyn starts to get older and our family birthday parties for her give way to backyard bouncy castles and 20 of her closest friends we will definitely be looking to Shutterfly to help us with birthdays as well.

I have a feeling that some people in our family that are a little harder to buy for may be getting something like this for Christmas this year.

Final Disclaimer: I made this post so I can get 50 free Christmas cards, but I hope all of you know that I wouldn't be making this post in the first place if I wasn't a huge supporter of Shutterfly. I can't say enough about how easy they make getting beautiful Christmas cards made for a great price.

~4 Months Old~

Our Little Man is 4 months old today!

Oh how I LOVE this age! Murphy is so much fun to watch and play with now!
(by the way this was Shanes baby Feltman and it's still perfect!)

~As you can see, Murphy loves his feet/toes! If he has on socks he pulls them off just to get to his feet!
~He gives me tight hugs when I pick him up from his naps! (O-boy does mommy LOVE this!)
~Loves his pacie now! He ended up liking Dr. Browns.
~Likes gnawing on Sophie the giraffe.
~He is still eating a lot!
~He started wearing crib shoes.
~Loves to have his silky blanket by his cheeks when he is falling asleep.
~Loves, loves, loves bath time!
~Still does not like riding in the car...not fun for anyone...
~Wants to be held all the time which is why he loves sitting in his sling!
~Murphy is a mamas boy! He even looks around the room for me!
~He coos lightly when he's tired.(it sounds So incredibly sweet!)
~He is a huge cuddle bug!
~He has acquired many nick names: "Little man","chunky monkey", "muffin man", "muffy"!
~He started sitting in his Bumbo and Exersaucer.
~Most of his clothes are size 6 months and a few are 9 months!
~He is wanting to gnaw on everything which also makes him a slobber monster!
~We call him our "Big Bouncing Baby Boy!"
~Stares contently at himself in the mirror! (we think this is funny because Madelyn never really cared for mirrors!)

Shane said that Murphy looked like a porcelain doll. I think its because he so light complected and had rosy cheeks after his bath!
