Madelyn loves to be chased around the house by Shane. Although she's not the best runner yet.. Give her a break...she's only been walking for 3 months! I hope this video makes you laugh!

A Wedding Weekend In Kosy!

 Shane, Maddie and I went to Kosciusko for the weekend to visit and attend Webb and Jenny's wedding.  The Wedding was beautiful and Shane got to see lots of his high school friends. It was good for him to get caught up. During the wedding Shane held Maddie. She was facing over his shoulder when she decided to stick her finger as far as she could up her nose. As soon as Shane pulled it out she jabbed it right back up! This had everyone behind us cracking up! Good thing it was good friends (which included Owen, Richard, Whitney, and Sarah)!

We also got to swim a good bit too! I have now learned that Madelyn is NOT scared of water. We have to watch her at all time around the pool. On this trip Madelyn and Sophie really played. They don't know how to share but they like to hand things to each other and Sophie does her best to "talk" to Madelyn! It's really sweet to watch! Also on the way down I found that Maddie has two more teeth (both on top)! So the total now is six on top and two on bottom...Here are a few pictures from the last day.

Dancing Bear "Nana and Papas 50th Wedding Anniversary"

Shane's grandparents "Bray"celebrated their 50th! The entire family went to Townsend, TN to celebrate with them..Townsend is located right outside of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park! It was absolutely breath taking! We had too much fun! We visited the Day Lily Barn, went on a beautiful hike, and went tubing down one of the rivers! Not to forget all of the yummy food we had! Here are a bunch of pictures taken while we were there.

**MADDIE'S PROTEST/SIT-IN DEMONSTRATION!!**

I dismantled the baby swing on Saturday to put it into storage. Madelyn walked in on Sunday morning while we were getting ready and sat in it and played with the fish.. This swing has been in our bedroom for months and she has showed no interest in it until now! Maybe she just does not like change...O-yeah and yes...those are my underwear she is wearing around her head!! It is usually wrapped on top of her head though! She grabs them while I am folding clothes!

I know this is kinda gross....but I thought it was funny! I was feeding Madelyn a grilled cheese. She was wrapping things up and decided that Elsie should experience the cheesy goodness too. It looks like Madelyn was being a tease to Elsie!!

This years 4th was SO much fun!! We went to Lipscomb to see fireworks..They put on a big show including a concert. We were so scared that Madelyn would scream as soon as the fireworks started going off..but she liked them...she pointed at them in the sky! Nino's Fourth of July Cake! Jenny and Sara decorated it this year! (Good job girls!)and yes...that is blueberries (from our farm) and raspberries!

Shane's grandparents came up to Nashville for the weekend. Mema is showing Maddie her puzzle. The animals make sounds..She LOVES it!

They also gave Maddie a beautiful antique dimetas cup for her birthday!ok...let me explain...Mema, Dondi, Joe and Malinda went to Franklin to look at antiques. Jenny and I went to tag along...We saw all these 20's and 30's hats..so we made a little fashion show out of it!! I love Jenny...She is always a willing participant to act stupid with me!!!
...then nino joined in the fun!!! (look in the background at the reflection in the mirror!!! Who could it be laughing so hard?)
