Ni Hao!

These are the goodies that Shane brought back from China!

WOW! I've never seen anything like this in my entire life! There are literally millions of cicadas in our yard! They've been here for three weeks now! They're very loud! In fact Nino got out of her car the other day and said "Is that an alarm going off?!" nope...It's the cicadas! They are leaving their shells everywhere! Last week I could not go outside without one flying on me!

From what I've heard on the news, these are the 13 year cicadas! They were last seen May 1998! I was talking to my friend, Sloan Burton, who grew up in Nashville. I asked him if he remembered the cicadas as a kid! He said yep, he sure does!

Maddie has become quite fond of them!..She picks them up by their wings! That's my girl!

Our area (Crieve Hall) has especially been hit by these loud bugs! Mainly because our area was built on farm land....or at least this is what my elderly neighbor told me;)

Shane and I were in the kitchen. Maddie comes running in screaming that there is a cicada in the house and that Murphy is after it! I grabbed my camera!....

So the question is.....If Murphy eats one...will it emerge in 13 years?! HA!

BIG NEWS!!!

Our Busy Baby Boy is now up-right!

~He is getting his two top teeth in!

~Stands up from the ground up!
~Taking steps like crazy!
~Loves to be outside
~Waves bye bye
~Had his first experience with ice cream! To say he loved it would be an understatement!
~Loves Miles and makes the funniest high pitched sound when he sees him.. I'm guessing this is Murphy's version of "meow"!
~signed "mama", "hot" & "all done"!
~nurses 5-6 times a day
~is really starting to love Elmo!
~bounces on his hinny when he is excited!
~is a GREAT eater! One morning he ate 3...yes 3 cinnamon rolls!
~loves to be held and is such a cuddle bug with his mama!
~loves to eat eggs!
~likes playing with the little people barn and tractor

~can put his feet up to his ears!

~He is still the cuddliest baby!

~thinks its funny when he shoves his pacie into someone else's month...This includes Maddie, Mommy, Daddy, Elmo, Elsie...etc. He starts cackling about it!

~LOVES his sister and loves to climb all over her like they're restling! Shane and I just laugh!

~Likes to still Maddie's sippy cup! He thinks he is such a big boy when he does this!

Murphy is a mess but we LOVE, love, love our little cuddle bug cutie;)

Gymnastics

On Thursday Madelyn started Summer camp at Let It Shine Gymnastics. Shane and I were scared that Madelyn might not be ready to do something like this...mainly because it last from 9:00 in the morning to 3:00 in the afternoon! Well she shocked us! She absolutely LOVED it and wanted to go back the next day! She talked and talked about her "new friends" and

"doing BIG flips"! Worth every penny! She was SO worn out when she got into the car that she fell asleep right away! She will be going once a week.

She is taking the class with her friend, Audrey!

While Daddy's Away...

Mommy and the kids are in MS at Play!

Shane has been traveling recently for work. In fact he was gone three weeks in May! So i decided it was the perfect time to head to MS to visit with our family! We spent an entire week there and had an awesome time!

We painted pictures! Ava takes painting and was showing Madelyn and Sophie tips!

They love their Nana! I fact Murphy was saying Nana the entire time that we were there!

The three stooges! They were all born within the a cycle year! They love each other and play really well! Sweet little cousins!

We also got to go down to Jackson and visit with Mema and Dondi! It is always so good to see them! Madelyn especially loves going to their house!

Murphy and Kaylee are just a month apart! He did not know what to do with her but was so excited! He was squealing!

While in Kosy I went with my sister Allison to watch Ava take horse riding lessons! This is her 2 year and she is doing an amazing job! I am so proud of her!
