We arrived to the hospital at 6.45 this morning. Got checked in and went to a room. Nat has been talking with her friend Kelly Cochrane, a labor and delivery nurse, and she said she wanted to be our nurse. When we found out we were going to be induced today Kelly made sure she was here. So far Nat and baby are doing well.
Dr. Draughn came by a little while ago to check on things. When Dr. Draughn came by to check on Nat and she and him had discussed breaking her water so they decided to go ahead and try. He gave it a go for about 10 minutes with no luck. Not even 5 minutes after Dr. Draughn left, saying he'll be back in an hour to try again, Nat's water broke.
I told her it was like a jar of pickles, Dr. Draughn "loosened it up" for her.
There isn't much to report for now. With Nat's water having broken actual labor will start now so I will be posting more frequently now.
