David Lipscomb High School held the ceremony for the top two honors for students. The 2008-09 Miss Lipscomb is Sarabeth Ivey and the Bachelor of Ugliness is Harrison Daniel. Sarabeth and Harrison were selected by their peers as the Seniors who best represent the ideals of Lipscomb.Sarabeth is the daughter of Joe and Malinda Ivey and Harrison is the son of Theodore and Sharon Daniel. Both are outstanding citizens and classmates, and are wonderful ambassadors for Lipscomb.
Beebs!! We can't tell you how super excited and proud we are of you!!! No one deserves this honor more than you! We LOVE ya very much!!

Sara and her guy, Kendall***Just for the record, I have no clue where the term "Bachelor of Ugliness" came from. It is the term Lipscomb and Vanderbilt use to refer to the "Mr. Lipscomb/Vanderbilt". As best that Shane and I can tell the term is kind of a joke since the Mrs. Lipscomb is very beautiful and the guys are very handsome, this is kind of making a joke about it. That is best explanation we can come up with.***
