This year was the second time Shane and I have attended the cook off...We have yet to be let down!~ The food is phenomenal! This year was a little different. Chivas (Laurens hubby) was one of the competitors in the "Shade Tree" Teams. So we were there to cheer him on! He did pretty well considering this was his first MAJOR competition. They bring in judges from all over!! including Food Networks Guy "Guido" Fierri, and Southern Livings Scott Jones, and our very own...Kelly Sutton from Fox 17 News here in Nashville.. Chivas placed 9th in chicken. 11th in ribs and did 14th overall out of 47 teams! Great job!
